About the Book
Waheigi Leiteng, meaning “a garland of words,” is a deeply introspective and emotional narrative that follows the life of Arun Potsangbam, a young man navigating the complexities of his twenties. Set across the cities of Bengaluru and Imphal, the story unfolds through Arun’s reflections on love, loss, and the search for meaning.
Haunted by a strained relationship with Patrick and the heartbreak that follows, Arun finds himself drawn back to his high school memories at Maria Montessori School, Imphal. In revisiting his past, he reconnects with a version of himself that was innocent, hopeful, and full of dreams—seeking guidance to face his present struggles.
Supported by his best friend Natasha, Arun begins to understand that pain is inevitable, but healing is a choice. The story beautifully captures the emotional turbulence of adulthood, reminding readers that while time never stops, hope always finds a way to grow.
